ASPnet Study Themes

The main emphasis of the ASPnet is on integrating international elements into the regular curriculum, rather than to treat them as separate subjects.

ASPnet schools are encouraged to conduct pilot projects on four main themes of study covering a wide range of interrelated sub-topics. The point of departure should be issues relevant to the student’s own environment, concerns, and aspirations:

  • Education for Sustainable Development
  • Intercultural Learning
  • Peace, Human Rights and Democracy
  • World Concerns and the Role of the United Nations
