Fundraiser and Programme Secretary
Scotland Committee

Salary: c. £25,000 to £28,000 pa, pro rata to 3 days a week
Part time, Fixed Term 12 months
Edinburgh, Scotland

The UK National Commission for UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) is an independent body set up by the UK Government as the focal point in the UK for UNESCO-related policy and activities.

An effective fundraiser and an energetic, resourceful and organised individual, you will join the National Commission’s Secretariat to provide support for the Scotland Committee. The position is funded by the Scotland Government and will be based in Edinburgh.

You will have fundraising experience and have an understanding of the United Nations and Government structures in all parts of the UK, experience in working with Government, multilateral organisations and NGOs and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with good attention to detail.
