The issue looks into the question ‘Who runs your world?’ by investigating issues such as the balance of power and democracy as well as personal stories. Of particular interest is the article entitled ‘Millenium plus 5’ looking at the progress of the UN’ Millenium Development Goals. The article is a succinct 2 page account of the goals and what has been done so far including success stories and accounts of where the situation has worsened.

The action-packed booklet is intended for students, AMs and teachers. It is intended to help understand the role of AMs and how their decisions affect young people, the role of the National Assembly for Wales and how it works alongside the UK Parliament. The booklet is centred on organising AM’s visit to school and gives constructive suggestions around the purpose of the visit as well as fun facts and activities for students to think about and organise, such as quizzes and debates. The booklet is in English and Welsh.

The booklet provides all necessary information needed to organise an MEP visit to schools and prepare students to discuss European issues. It is intended to show how MEPs represent UK citizens in the EU, how their role affects young people and the benefits of being an EU citizen. There are also activities aimed at understanding the UK’s role in Europe and how EU institutions work. The booklet includes information for MEPs, teachers and students on how to organise and prepare for the visit, including useful sources of information, fact sheets and suggested activities.

The booklet gives the information necessary for organising MP’s visit to school. It is intended to help understand the government structure, how decisions affect different people and young people in particular, the role of the MPs and the media. The booklet provides a suggested outline of MP’s visit and preparatory information for MPs, teachers and students. The pack includes many suggested activities and topical suggestions, such as the internet chatroom safety debate.
