Delegate Preparation
The Regional Consultation deals with a number of UNESCO documents. The preparation of the programme and budget is no small task. Therefore to assist common understanding of the current programme and to provide references for basic information both in the lead-up to the event and during the event, the UK National Commission for UNESCO as hosts of the Regional Consultation has prepared full programmatic digests of:
- Programme Digest Medium-Term Strategy for 2008-2013 (34 C/4)
- Programme Digest Programme and Budget for 2010–2011 (35 C/5 Approved) with Category 2 Institutes & Centres and UNESCO Chairs & UNITWIN Networks
- Programme Short Digest Programme and Budget for 2008–2009 (34 C/5 Approved)
In addition to these, document 184 EX/4 Report by the Director-General on the Implementation of the Programme and Budget (34 C/5) and on the Results Achieved in the Previous Biennium (2008-2009) (Draft 36 C/3) may be a useful indicator of outcomes in the first biennium of the period.
