Nominations to the International Register

Nominations to the International Memory of the World Register are now open.

Inscriptions to the International Memory of the World Register are made every biennium, with the next inscriptions scheduled for 2011.

Nominations go through a vigorous review process, including consideration by the UK Memory of the World Working Group (hyperlink to MoW WG webpage), the Memory of the World Register Sub-Committee and the International Advisory Committee (IAC). This review process is consultative and works with the nominating individual or institution to help ensure the best nomination possible.

If you are considering a nomination to the International Register, begin by reviewing the criteria outlined in the general guidelines to safeguard documentary heritage.
