School Linking Task Group

Chair: Robert Doe

Affiliation: Formerly Times Educational Supplement

The School Linking Task Group was set-up in 2007 to investigate how UNESCO’s aims and values of peace, international solidarity and Education for All could be furthered by enabling international links between UK schools and their counterparts, particularly in developing countries.

The Task Group has established two sub-groups:

Sub-Group 1: This sub-group is investigating links that contribute to Education for All and to improved intercultural understanding and social cohesion within the UK.

Sub Group 2: This sub-group has collected and analysed data and evidence on the roll of local education authorities in supporting and sustaining school links.
