Scotland Committee

The UK National Commission for UNESCO (UKNC) Scotland Committee was established in 2007 with the support of the Scottish Government.

The Committee leads on the UKNC's work in Scotland, which covers a diverse range of activities in Education, Sciences, Culture and Communication.

The Scotland Committee Vision Statement is:

“Leis gur ann an inntinn dhaoine a thoisicheas an cogadh, 's ann an intinn dhaoine a dh'fheumar dion na sithe a thogail.”

(“Since wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds of men that the defences of peace must be constructed.”)
