UNESCO Juan Bosch Prize

The Juan Bosch Prize for the Promotion of Social Science Research in Latin America and the Caribbean is now open for applications. 

The purpose of the Prize is to reward, every two years, the best social science thesis, written by young researchers in the Latin American and Caribbean region, which has made a significant contribution to the promotion of research in the social sciences that endeavors to improve social development.

Nominations will be made by the governments of Member States, in consultation with their National Commissions, and we recommend that UK expressions of interest are sent to the UKNC as soon as possible, as each application will be peer reviewed:  http://www.unesco.org.uk/engage/apply-for-unesco-prizes/
