UNESCO launches new education podcast series

UNESCO’s Education Sector has launched the first edition of its new Education Podcast on Soundcloud. Listeners receive news, updates and highlights on the Organisation’s key activities in education.

The first edition looks at UNESCO’s calls on World Refugee Day to ensure that refugee children have access to education. This builds on its recent policy paper, No More Excuses, produced by the UNESCO Global Monitoring Report and the UN High Commission on Refugees. The podcast also provides an update on a partnership between UNESCO’s Education Sector and its Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission to develop the Horizon 2020 funded Sea Change Project; an open resource learning tool on ocean literacy. The podcast also looks at UNESCO’s work on the prevention of violent extremism through education and UNESCO’s new PVE teachers’ guide. Follow UNESCO’s education sector on Soundcloud.
