UNESCO-UNAM Jaime Torres Bodet Prize in Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts 2017

The UNESCO-UNAM Jaime Torres Bodet Prize in Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts has opened for applications.

Established by the Executive Board in 2014 and fully endowed by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the Prize is intended to reward candidates who have made an outstanding contribution to the development of knowledge and society through art, teaching and research in social sciences and humanities.

The Prize consists of a monetary reward of US $50,000. Nominations will be made by the governments of Member States, in consultation with their National Commissions, and we recommend that UK expressions of interest are sent to the UKNC by 2 May 2017 as each application will be peer reviewed:  http://www.unesco.org.uk/engage/apply-for-unesco-prizes/
