The British Council and DCMS Announce Latest Projects to be Awarded Grants through the Cultural Protection Fund
The British Council and DCMS have announced the latest projects to be awarded protection grants through the Cultural Protection Fund. The Fund supports projects working in conflict-affected countries across the Middle East and North Africa. It seeks to protect both tangible and intangible heritage alike.
The UK Government has renewed its commitment to protect and enhance the UK's UNESCO World Heritage Sites, to implement Cultural Property Protection both nationally and internationally, and to ensure the heritage sector is contributing its expertise globally, in a new Heritage Statement published in December 2017.
